Why STEAM? Why Now?

We are all aware of the paradigm shift that has occurred in education world-wide this past year. Our schools still have a need to fundraise, but why not fundraiser smarter and support curriculum while doing it.

• Our fundraisers work in any environment and support closing educational gaps that may have arisen due to the rapidly changing educational environment.

Given the employee shortages, the need to improve domestic talent and the elevated salaries there has never been a better time to reach students at young ages to engage their minds to the possibilities that a career in STEAM can afford them.

• In the 2018 Skills & Gap Study, released by Deloitte and the Manufacturing Institute, there is a predicted shortage of 2.4 million manufacturing jobs in the next decade.

• According to the Smithsonian Science Education Center, STEM professionals out-earn non-STEM positions by 12 - 30% across all education levels.

• In March 2019, the House Science Committee met to STEM professionals in the United States and determined the need for improved domestic talent in these areas.
