Whether it’s money for STEAM labs, field trip costs, classroom consumables, professional development for teachers, or anything else, we want to partner with you to help you get where you want to go. As part of STEAM Punk Kids, we recommend that 10% of the school proceeds go back into STEAM for your school and the rest is available for campus needs big and small.

 

 

 

 

STEAM Powered Escape Room

Since it’s not books read, laps run, or wrapping paper sold, you may be wondering…how does STEAM Punk Kids help schools raise money? STEAM Punk Kids hands-on learning activities culminate in a STEAM powered virtual escape classroom challenge. Think of a STEAM Punk Kids fundraiser as 5 days of lessons to prepare students for a final escape room. Donors are sponsoring dollars per challenge (typically 10 challenges) to escape the classroom.

Timeline 

What does a typical SPK fundraiser timeline look like? The student kick-off day initiates gathering donation pledges. Pledges can be accepted through Monday following the escape room challenge. This timeline allows for 2 weekends of calling grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles and visiting neighbors to get donations. SPK has hands-on activities for days 1 - 5, which culminate in the escape room challenge on day 6.

Prizes

Who doesn’t love prizes? There is a daily class challenge each day of the fundraiser. The class challenges can result in a fun class treat or class STEAM gift for the students and the teacher.
